Summary:

When Wendy Everly first discovers the truth about herself—that she’s a changeling switched at birth—she knows her life will never be the same. Now she’s about to learn that there’s more to the story…

She shares a closer connection to her Vittra rivals than she ever imagined—and they’ll stop at nothing to lure her to their side. With the threat of war looming, her only hope of saving the Trylle is to master her magical powers—and marry an equally powerful royal. But that means walking away from Finn, her handsome bodyguard who’s strictly off limits…and Loki, a Vittra prince with whom she shares a growing attraction.

Torn between her heart and her people, between love and duty, Wendy must decide her fate. If she makes the wrong choice, she could lose everything, and everybody, she’s ever wanted…in both worlds.

As a special gift to readers, this book contains a new, never-before-published bonus story, “One Day, Three Ways,” set in the magical world of the Trylle.

Review:

First of all... You got to love these covers. Second, We love Hockings story line. However we are both leaning more toward the first book. After much discussion we believe we might have liked it a little more. Still loved this book though.

Wendy is coming into her on and We really enjoyed some of the new characters. It is a little annoying on the back and forth between her and Finn though.  Finn's character is great but he is slowly beginning to bore us. Nice guy and good character, but kind of hard to find his place.

Its very interesting who the villain of the story is. We love that it is her father and enjoy the tension between her and Loki. Loki's character is the new interest he for us. Definitely hoping to see more of him in the future. Seems like the perfect male to cause drama.

It is a beautifully written book and we do look forward to the final installment.

Review:

This book has a little different base than compared to the other Argeneau books and we love that. It's nice to see a little different style. Loved that this was more than a romance as well. The action and drama were very entertaining.

The character were great in this story. Very different and fun. Armand was a great strong character. Eshe is amazing and we love her strength and her kick ass attitude. But seriously... Got to love the Argeneau men! They never disappoint for a steamy romance.

Sands wows us once again with another great vampire read. Its always fun to laugh and get wrapped up in this vampire family.
