For Basha Argeneau, anything is better than facing her estranged family. Even hiding out in sweltering southern California. But when a sexy immortal in black shows up determined to bring her back to the clan, she'll do anything to keep far, far away from the past she can't outrun.

Marcus Notte isn't here to play games—especially not with someone as crazy as the infamous blonde. Asked by Lucian Argeneau to bring her back for questioning, Marcus is determined to carry out Lucian's request—no matter how the seductive little mind-reading vamp feels about it.

Basha doesn't mind fighting fire with fire, especially with a hot immortal involved. But if he wants to take her away, he'll have to catch her first . . .

Review:

How can you not love the Argeneau Series. Sands continues to amaze us all! Twenty books in and they just keep getting better. We have each written our own reviews on this book, but not because we disagree. In fact we wholly agree this is 5 stars hands down!

Lisa:

AMAZING is the first word to come to mind. Sands did a great job with this comedy filled romance. I found myself laughing out loud many times. All the books with the Vincents character have me laughing though :)

I love Basha's story. She is a strong character and was a joy to read about. I love getting lost in the world Sands creates. I could not put this book down like so many other of Sands books. A pure joy to read.

Book Lovers everywhere pick up one of the Argeneau novels and prepare to fall in love and laugh along the way!

Leann:

Loved this amazing novel! Sands does it time and time again. One riveting, witty novel after another. I really enjoyed the story line in this novel. I find it amazing that Sands continues to keep this series alive and new with each addition to the series.

Truly a pleasure to read. I love the characters as always an I love finding more out about this family. Lucian's character seems to grow with each passing novel. A wonderful read that kept me turning page after page!

A witty romantic comedy of epic proportions! A Character struggling to over come the traumas of her past and hiding from the only family she knows, and a millennial of shielding her emotions. She meets the one person who might be able to bring her out of hiding and to the family she's terrified of meeting. Its just amazing!
