Synopsis:

Everyone has their definition of love. There have been countless songs sung about it. A gazillion books, articles, and poems written about it. There are experts on love who will tell you how to get it, keep it, and get over it.
We’re led to believe love is complicated. It’s not the love that’s complicated. It’s all the crap that we attach to it and put in front of it that makes it difficult. If you’re smart, you’ll realize this before it’s too late and simplify.

Review:
Books like this are hard to review. Why? Because they rip every emotion you have out of you and leave you drained. Most reviews I write soon after I read them to capture my emotions and thoughts before they leave my head. Not this book. I was so drained I had nothing left to give. So the question then would be how to rate it? Well, in my opinion if a book can capture you so completely and drain you then it is one heck of a book. Even if it drags you through the dirt along the way and you don't exactly like those emotions.
The characters are your typical teenagers. (aka they are emotion and dramatic and choose the worst possible path in the name of making their lives harder.) Lets face it though. It's real life! I love when an author can make a story so real that you are there with the characters. About 3/4 the way through we get the mother of all bombs dropped on us. I didn't see it coming. A great read.

Review:
Again I am left reeling after a Bailey read. She is one talented lady. Again it is incredibly real life. Her characters react exactly as you would expect a young dramatic person. These characters have a past. A tragic and heart breaking past at times. I was a little caught off guard to find that it all connected along the way. I wasn't a fan of Brad in book one, so it was nice to see the real Brad and get to know him better.
Overall a great read and well worth your time. Be prepared to be emotionally wrung, although it is no where as intense as the first book. This is one of those series that stays with you. You play it over and over again in your head.
