I really enjoyed this read. I think what I loved most was that this author didn't feel the need to over fill the book with sex. I not only got the hot steamy sex from this author, but I also go a real story to go along with it. It was the perfect balance. Real people with real problems and then the hot and steamy. It was bit of a build up to the hot and steamy, but it was well worth the wait.
I really liked Kate's character. She has had a rough past, but it doesn't stop her from succeeding professionally speaking. Liam is a great character as well. He is younger than Kate and I really like that. Me personally don't like the younger guys, but this author really makes the story work. A great read.

For years—years—she’d fought her internal opinion that she was a slut. A whore. She wasn’t. She was a good person. A person worthy of love and respect.

If you want this to stop, if you don’t trust me, you know what to say. I’ll leave and we’ll be done. Otherwise, uncross your arms and continue.”
Fear clutched her heart. Fear of continuing? No. Fear that all…this would end. She’d only just begun…could she so easily abandon her pursuit for some semblance of normalcy in her life? Or was she prepared to spend the rest of her days alone?
Like dead weight, her arms fell to her sides.
