Summary:
Christian Notte's story, the sixteenth book in the Argeneau series is set on an island paradise called St. Lucia. After a bad relationship and an even worse divorce, Carolyn decides to go on a long overdue and much needed vacation with the 'girls'. Only the rest of the vacationers didn't get the memo. Around every corner there seems to be another couple celebrating their honeymoon or anniversary and the few single men she does see are far too young to even consider, including an irresistibly attractive rock violinist she meets. It's really too bad he's so young but in the end it doesn't matter because according to his cousin, Giacinta, women in general aren't Christian's type. But there's a catch, Christian needs Carolyn's help. He needs her to be his beard (to play the part of his fake girlfriend) for the week to appease his 'machismo' family. Carolyn just can't seem to say No and decides to help Gia's cousin. The only problem is that being around Christian and acting like they are a loving couple is wreaking havoc on her emotions. Carolyn's thoughts keep drifting back to places they shouldn't, like kissing his full lips or feeling his broad shoulders under her fingertips... good lord, she's in trouble.
Review:
Here we are at book 16 in the Argeneau Novels. What we have come to expect from Lynsay Sands is a book full of love, laughter and an interesting twist to finding true love. As we expect she does not fail to deliever. We absolutely love Lynsay Sands and her Argeneau vampire series.
This book tells the story of Margureite and Julius's son Christian. Christian Notte is one sexy violin player. His Mom and Dad are on their honeymoon and call to say him and the band are needed. Christian has no idea what he is in store for.
This book lets us meet more of the Notte family and really get to know Christian. Carolyn comes in thinking she is too old for the young and sexy Christian. But it doesn't matter because he is gay.... Or is he? That doesn't stop Christian's unconventional way to seduce the beautiful Carolyn.
This book leaves you hungry for more Argeneau and Notte men. Can't wait for the next installment.

Inez Urso is beginning to have her doubts. Her business associate Thomas Argeneau has some interesting traits, like an allergic reaction to the sun, excellent night vision, and not much of an appetite for food. And to top it all off, he just tried to bite her neck . . . but maybe that was a sign of passion. If so, she'd be happy to experience more, despite her determination not to mix business with pleasure.
Well, if not forever, at least two hundred years. Inez is the most beautiful woman he's seen in centuries. Those luscious lips, seductive curves, and her elegant neck . . . he just couldn't resist the temptation of one little bite. Now Thomas will do anything to convince her that only an immortal like him can satisfy her all night long . . .
Review:
Thomas Argeneau is the Argeneau no one takes seriously. This story shows the real Thomas. We love Thomas's character. He might be both of our favorites (although Lucian is right there with him). We had loved his character in the previous books and eagerly awaited his book. Thomas has a great personality. He is very funny and constantly deifying his family. He always seems to know the exact buttons to push to get them going. So reading his story as he finds his true love is really great fun.
We loved the change of scenery in this book. It was nice to have this book set over seas. We also loved the fiery spirit of Inez. Inez is so driven in her career it is so much fun to see how she interacts with Thomas.
The suspense and drama in Margeruite's life gives Thomas's story a great twist and a great set up to find love. This book really has a lot of mystery going on. This is one of the first books you have to actually kind of know the series before you jump in, unlike the previous Argeneau books. Great job Lynsay Sands on yet another fun and sexy read.
