Review:

I love a good mystery, even better when it's tailored around a good detective. I loved this book. Finding out it was actually the first book written with Gary's character was even more fun. Sometimes its that little outside info from the author that really brings new life and meaning to a great book. Behind the scenes. It painted a whole new out look into the series.

I love the author and her writing style. She paints intriguing imagery that leaves little for the mind to make up on its own. The characters are wonderful as well. I love Gary's character and this book just lets us dive deeper into his world.

The new characters introduced in this story are great. Each playing very well off the other. I also really enjoy not figuring the whole mystery out quickly. I love that Bruce keeps me on the edge of my seat. Not something easy to do. A great read and I highly recommend this book to any crime/mystery lover out there.
