THE INTERVIEW:
TWINS- Where is your favorite place to go in the
summer?
SHELLY- My husband and I like to take our kids to the sand dunes near Lake
Michigan.
TWINS- What is your dream summer destination?
SHELLY- I’d
like to go back to Alaska and see the parts I didn’t get the chance to on my
cruise.
TWINS- What is your favorite summer activity?
SHELLY- Going
to outdoor concerts with my husband.
TWINS- Swimming or sun bathing?
SHELLY- Swimming! I love sun
bathing, but now that I know better, I sit in the shade.
TWINS- Fishing or boating or both?
SHELLY- Boating. Nothing beats
relaxing on a pontoon. Although I did go fishing in Florida and caught a
stingray.
TWINS- Beach or Lake or Pool?
SHELLY- For swimming,
definitely a pool. My ideal is a pool overlooking the ocean.
TWINS- Hiking or biking?
SHELLY- Biking.
TWINS- Camping or vacationing?
SHELLY- Vacationing. Unlike
the rest of my family, I’m not a camping kind of person.
TWINS- In your opinion what is the sexiest summer
wear on a man? woman?
SHELLY- On guys, cutoff jean shorts and no shirt and on women, sundresses.
TWINS- What is your go to summer read?
SHELLY- I look
forward to Richelle Mead’s latest in her Bloodline series. There’s always one released
during the summer.
TWINS- Since it is summer and we love steamy reads for
summer, what is your favorite steamy summer read?
SHELLY- Anything written by Kristen
Ashley.
TWINS- Where do you prefer to read in the summer?
SHELLY- Everywhere, but I love reading by the pool.
TWINS- When you think summer what is the first
thing to come to mind?
SHELLY- Camp.
TWINS- Have you ever had a summer fling/love?
SHELLY- When
I was thirteen, I met a boy at camp who broke his leg. I wheeled him around all
week and really liked him. Until I found out it was his birthday and he was
turning eleven!
TWINS- What is the sexiest way to travel in the
summer? (type of car, motorcycle, bike)
SHELLY-Convertible.
