Summary:

Creatures of the night gather in the Hollows of Cincinnati, to hide, to prowl, to party, and to feed. Vampires rule. Bounty hunter and witch, Rachel Morgan keeps that world civilized. With serious sex appeal and an attitude, she'll bring 'em back alive, dead, or undead.

Review:

This story contains everything paranormal or fantasy related. The kickass bounty hunters in this book are easy to love. Though this book lacks romance it is still a good read. It left me wanting more from the story. There where many times I put this book down and had to come back to pick it up.

It is a book that is worth reading if only it gives you the background to set up the rest of the series. It was just a lot of lull in the book and that was disappointing for me. I did love the characters though and it did leave me wanting to know what happens next at the end of the book. It gets its 3 1/2 moons solely because it leads you to a great series that you won't want to put down after you get started in the series it's self.
