Review:

 

This is a collection of 4 short stories of various paranormal types. If you enjoy shorts as much as I do then you will enjoy this collection. As a mom I love to have a short on hand for when I have only 45 minutes to and hour during my kids nap each day. This is my go to collection of shorts. I enjoy it more than any other.

 

Out of Control- Ivy

By far my favorite short as of now. I have read this one over and over and cannot wait for Ivy's new series she is basing off of this short. Niko is a sexy sentinel that Angela can't resist. This story is action packed and sexy. I love it. Well written and leaves you ready to read more.

 

Ties that Bind- Bangs

I really enjoyed this action packed vampire read. It has a new twist on vampires and is loaded with action and sexual tension. I would love more stories like this from Bangs and hope to see them soon. She wrote strong characters that are very appealing I hope it leads to more.

 

In Still Darkness- Duvall

This was my first introduction into Duvall's writing and I fell in love. This short is amazing and easy to read again and again. It has lead me to read the other books from the series and I love them. This is the must read of the collection.

 

High Stakes- Jayne

This is a good read buy my least favorite of the collection. It was not as action packed or sexy. Did not read as good either. Still enjoyable though. This short goes along with Jayne's series The underworld detection Agency chronicles. Seems a good series I will definitely check out. I liked the short but it was weak compared to the other 3 in this collection.
