Review:

We can both agree on this one. We feel it is definitely the best book in the series. We love the growth of the characters. While understanding why, We both hate that Wendy cheats on her new husband. That is possibly the only thing we don't like in the story.

Loki's character is fun and brings fun to all the serious moments in this book. Wendy has finally grown into her destiny forging her own rather than standing by and letting a predestined life take hold.

The ending of this book is absolutely perfect. Finn getting a happy ending along with the rest makes it perfect through and through. It's great when an author actually wraps up a story. Too often we find ourselves with unanswered questions... Hocking does splendid. We wish the series could go on of course but this ending did it true justice.

Title: Tall Dark and Hungry

Author: Lynsay Sands

Series: Argeneau

Format: Ebook

ISBN13: 9780062013705

Published June 8th 2010 by HarperCollins e-books

Summary:

The taste of temptation
Terri had flown from England to help plan her cousin's wedding, but paying for a New York hotel room was like giving blood! She had an alternative: the new in-laws were offering lodging.

Of course, the Argeneaus were a certifiably odd bunch. There was the sometimes chipper, sometimes brooding Lucern—a "vampire romance" writer. There was the wacky stage actor, Vincent. She couldn't imagine Broadway casting a more ravenous singing-and-dancing Dracula. And then there was Bastien. Of this unique cast of characters, he seemed the tallest, darkest and hungriest—and his effect on Terri was decidedly delicious. Just looking into his eyes made her want to serve up her innocence on a silver platter. And she had a feeling the love feast was about to begin.

Review:

We have loved Bastien's character in the books so far. We love how he tries so hard to hide that he is a vampire. We also love how Victor puts so much pressure on his situation. We both laughed so hard when they walk in on Victor feeding on the maid. We not only fell in love with Bastien but Victor as well.

Of course We can't help but be in love with all of the Argeneau men... But who isn't? :)

This book is great, it takes calm collected Bastien and turns him into a mess because of Terri. We absolutely love the book. To say that we could read these books over and over again is an understatement. In fact we have both picked this series up multiple times now. Sands has yet to disappoint us and we look forward to sinking our teeth in to the next Argeneau novel.
